Tropical Storm Hanna is expected to pass over the Outer Banks as a tropical system.  If you must travel to or from the Outer Banks on Friday night or Saturday expect rains and winds resulting in slower travel. We advise you to listen to NOAA weather radio and local media for updates and advisories. Updates can also be found on www.darenc.com and locally on cable channel 20.
